Tu B'Shevat Fruit Projects – Ninth Grade English

This project is a fun preparation for Tu B’Shevat in which the students write a descriptive paragraph using sensory details about their favorite fruit and how they like to eat it. That slide should contain at least one image of the fruit and must be at least 14-150 words long. In the second slide, they must use AI to create an infographic about the fruit and an image of them eating the fruit. Most girls copied my example and made an infographic about the health benefits of the fruit. They also saw that AI makes spelling and content mistakes, and therefore we can’t trust everything AI creates. Finally, the students all presented their two slides to the class amidst a Tu B’Shevat party with a fruit salad bar. :-)
